Veronica 在港完成中四後前往新西蘭陶朗加（Tauranga）的百年名校 Bethlehem College 就讀 Year 11 到 Year 13 課程。Veronica 在 Year 13 修讀了 6 個學科，分別是化學、健康教育、統計數學、紡織、酒店管理和中文，在新西蘭留學不但使她變得更獨立成熟，更在學術上表現優秀，最後更獲取澳洲八大名校 — Monash University 營養學士 (Bachelor of Nutrition Science) 錄取 。

我當時不確定哪所學校最適合我，更懷疑自己是否能適應全新的環境。現在回頭看，選擇新西蘭升中成為改變我人生的決定 。當地的教育體制給予我極大支持，這裡的人也非常熱情 。

於新西蘭留學的約三年間，我不止學到學術知識，更獲得全新的人生經歷。我獨自面對不少挑戰，由應付功課到適應異地文化。這段經歷讓我學識獨立、堅韌，面對陌生環境時仍保持自信。

AAS 升學顧問於我的升學旅程中扮演極重要的角色，協助整理申請文件，而且更有一份很詳細的清單讓我緊貼進度。有了 AAS 的支援，整個申請過程的壓力減輕很多。

My name is Veronica Luk, after studying in Hong Kong from primary 1 to form 4, I have decided to study abroad in Tauranga, New Zealand. I moved to Bethlehem College at the middle of 2023 to continue my Year 11, 12 and 13 of New Zealand high school education. I studied 6 subjects in Year 13 ( NCEA level 3), Chemistry, Health education, Maths with Statistics, Textile Technology, Hospitality and Chinese.

Studying at Bethlehem College in Tauranga was a rewarding experience because of its supportive environment, strong academic standards, and welcoming community. The school offered a balance between academics and personal growth, encouraging students to develop independence and resilience. I chose Bethlehem College because it provided not only quality education but also a safe and nurturing atmosphere where international students could feel at home. Its location in Tauranga, with a peaceful setting and friendly culture, made it the ideal place for me to face new challenges and gain valuable life experiences.

Before joining AAS, planning my education overseas felt overwhelming. I wasn’t sure school would suit me best, and I had doubts about whether I could adapt to a completely new environment. Choosing New Zealand turned out to be a life-changing decision. The education system was supportive, and the people were incredibly welcoming.

Studying in New Zealand for almost three years gave me more than just academic knowledge, it gave me a whole new life experience. I had to face challenges on my own, from managing schoolwork to adjusting to a different culture. It taught me how to be independent, resilient, and confident in unfamiliar situations.

The AAS advisors were a huge part of my journey. They helped me organize my application documents and stay on track with a detailed checklist. Their guidance made the process much less stressful.

To students preparing to study abroad, don’t be afraid to take that leap. Ask questions, stay organized, and trust the process. Studying in New Zealand gave me not only an education but also a new perspective on life. You’ll grow in ways you never imagined.
